Center
of the room is arranged for comfortable conversation with a modern
curved sectional sofa, English pine end table, French mirror coffee
table, and lamps and prints in classic style. |
|
If you have
an eye for classic lines in furniture, you'll find almost any
kind of period piece somewhere in this room. Imagine what a problem
it was to arrange a collection of family pieces, from "black-iron
modern" through Empire and English, to Duncan Phyfe--all in
one room! And what a room! It has the dimensions of a glorified
hallway--13 feet wide and 32 feet long! But the Irving Fishers of
Oklahoma City took their odd-shaped room and a lot of mismatched
furniture--and look!

Dining
end of room combines Sheraton table and chairs, a pine breakfront,
black iron open shelves, and a Duncan Phyfe serving table.

of half of the living room shows how many different styles of furniture
you can use together and still maintain needed harmony.

Merry
Christmas-- Say it with table pretties

| Create your
own Christmas Tree Centerpiece. Small Styrofoam balls are pierced
with glitter-dipped toothpicks. A circle of them--size as desired--is
formed on plain red or green cloth. Smaller circles are added until
a tree shape is obtained. Candles stuck into balls complete the centerpiece.
