Kitty
Kitsch
by C. David & Ferbie Claudon
| From 1981 to 1995, my wife and I created a series of dressed cats, called Kitty Kitsch. These cats were generally in period costume. | |||
|
The Kittens' Recital: Hansel and Gretel The theatre painting was inspiredby a book on Russian ornamental painting. The set design is based on symbolist painting of the early 1900s.
|
Watching Punch and Judy The handpuppets are all accurate representations of real Punch and Judy puppets of the period. Behind the cloth stage is a cat puppeteer.
